Photography, digital or mechanical, is created using the same imaginary and physical means by which the natural and the man-made world which he shows is built, and is captured, interpreted and shaped by the inner aspiration of the photographer. Pygmalion, seemingly a mimetic function of imitation and the creation of a world that seems real – is the essence of the photographic medium based on opposites: mirage of natural magic and illusion.
